Our Legacy

Larry Shelton created SHELTON EXCAVATING in 1991 after spending a majority of his working life in the excavation industry. Larry had the privilege of working for Northland Constructors for thirteen years before forming SHELTON EXCAVATING. In 1991 Larry purchased one back hoe and began the journey of building his own company. Today, SHELTON EXCAVATING is a much larger corporation that has continued to grow every year. As the company grows, Larry continues to remember that giving a fair price and doing the job right the first time is of prime importance.

Streamlining operations is something William Shelton learned as a young entrepreneur. William has worked side by side with his Dad since he was twelve years old. He believes in team leadership, customer service, and staying active within the community. William's determination and desire to create a successful business has and will continue to be one of many positive characteristics he possesses.
